Do you remember the days when everyone loved school? Not just because they got to see their friends, but back in the days when people actually enjoyed learning. It was so exciting being allowed to have your own exercise book and because you’d never seen half of this stuff before it didn’t just feel like a waste of time. Do you remember when everyone at school was friends with each other? Maybe we didn’t all get on 100% of the time but arguments were over things like who you went in a partner with when playing a game. No one knew what ‘slut’ or ‘whore’ meant and if someone called someone ugly you’d stop being their friend. The idea of drugs and alcohol scared us and everyone thought sex was disgusting. It’s weird how within such a short space of time everyone has changed so much. I know it’s all part of growing up but I just didn’t expect everyone to lose their innocence quite so quickly
